The Worgen’s Howl Episode #116: Cheaters never get world first!

Welcome fellow pack members!

We are here to bring you the latest from the World of Warcraft and the community around it. It has been a very exciting week here, and we are excited to be here to give you another episode! Here are some of the topics you will hear about this week…

  • We recap the post BlizzCon Dev Q&A
  • We talk about the recent artifact power exploiters
  • We give you a glimpse into the recent interview of Chris Metzen by Scott Johnson
  • And much more!

First, we wanted to take  a second to introduce you to Mythic + Friends, a community project that brings people together in game! Many of us know that finding a group of people to run mythics with can be a challenge. With that in mind, the awesome people over at Mythic + Friends have created a community to help you find people to run with! You can check out their Twitter and Discord. This group is yet another neat community project aimed at bringing people together and helping people have fun in game!

Second, here is this week’s community board! It has all the latest contests, events, and more! Please feel free to share this any way you like! The links to each contest are in the description below the video.

Next, we wanted to make sure we linked the recent interview by Scott Johnson of Chris Metzen. This interview was outstanding and reached far beyond just video games. The curtain was pulled back a little as we got a peek at not only the internal struggles of game development, but also the toll it took on Chris himself. If you or anyone you know is or has gone through issues of anxiety and more, this interview will touch you. Check it out below, and a huge thank you to Scott and Chris.

Finally, thank you all once again for all of your support! This show wouldn’t be here without this great community! Each week we think about how thankful we are to be part of the best group of gaming fans! Keep being amazing and have fun in the new expansion!

  1. I have to admit that I hope they go back on making the artifact appearance a limited time unlock. I have a lot of characters and a number of the item unlocks I’d like to get. With them being on a per character basis (especially things like PvP, raid and Mythic 15 unlocks), I would have to quit my job (which obviously isn’t an option) to have enough time to accomplish this on all character classes.

    • I have to say that I am inclined to agree with you, especially with how difficult it has been to level and gear alts this expansion. I’m in the same boat because I don’t have lots of dedicated WoW time so those other characters are getting left behind.
